Purpose TxDOT's Fort Worth District will conduct an online virtual public meeting with an in-person option for the 2023 – 2026 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area.
Description

The FTW District RTIP includes Jack, Palo Pinto, Erath, and Somervell Counties. The Rural TIP includes all added capacity and regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, this meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.

The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. The same information including a short presentation exhibits explaining how the Rural TIP operates, and projects that are included in it will be available to view at each public meeting.

Accessibility The virtual public meeting and in-person options will be conducted in English. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the virtual public meeting or in-person options, please contact Joey Mims, at The Fort Worth District, at 512-317-5923 no later than 4 p.m. CT, April 18, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the TxDOT to arrange.
