| Virtual details | The virtual hearing will be available on this webpage starting Wednesday, May 13, 2026, by 5:30 p.m. through Friday, June 12, 2026, and will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and copies of the exhibits that will be available at the in-person option. |
| In-person details | Wednesday, May 13, 2026 In-person attendees will experience a live presentation, which will be pre-recorded and made available for the virtual public hearing. In-person attendees will also be able to review hard copies of project materials, ask questions to TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments. |
| Purpose | The purpose of the hearing is to present transportation projects, programs, and policies affecting bicycle use and pedestrian mobility improvements in the El Paso District and to gather input on those projects. |
| Description | The TxDOT El Paso District invites you to a public hearing regarding the El Paso District Bicycle Projects. All interested persons are invited to attend this public hearing to obtain information about the district transportation projects, programs, and policies affecting bicycle use on the state highway system and to express their views. |
| Accessibility | The in-person hearing and virtual option will be conducted in English. There will be a Spanish interpreter on site for the in-person hearing. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need accommodation to attend and participate in the public hearing, please contact the TxDOT El Paso District Public Information Officer at 915-790-4200 no later than 4 p.m. MDT on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange. |
