Virtual Public Meeting with In-Person Options - US 380 from I-35 to the Collin County Line

Where:

The virtual public meeting will be available beginning Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at 6 p.m. and will remain available online through the comment period deadline of Dec. 15, 2021. The comment period for this project has been extended to Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Please note that this is not a live event. The materials can be viewed at your convenience.

Additionally, TxDOT is providing two in-person meeting options for individuals who would like to participate in person instead of online. In-person attendees will be able to review the same materials and presentation as the online public meeting

Purpose:

TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study for improvements to US 380 from I-35 to the Collin County Line in Denton County, Texas. All comments must be received or postmarked on or before Dec. 15, 2021, to be included in the documentation of the public meeting. The comment period for this project has been extended to Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Description:

The purpose of the study is to analyze potential roadway options for US 380 in Denton County, including improving the existing alignment or utilizing new alignments. The recommended alignment for this study will be presented.

The public meetings, virtual and in-person, will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
