Collins Boulevard Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements

 The presentation will be posted online by Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at 4 p.m., and will remain online until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

If you do not have internet access, you may call the HDR Public Involvement Lead, at 972-960-4431 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process.

The current 0.92-mile Collins Boulevard facility consists of four to six lanes separated by a median, and a non-continuous sidewalk on both northbound and southbound sides. The existing southbound side contains a shared-use outside lane.

The proposed project would convert the northbound and southbound outside lanes into separated bicycle lanes. In addition, continuous sidewalks, and rectangular rapid flashing beacons for pedestrians and bicyclists are proposed to be incorporated into this facility. All work would be within the current 100 to 350-foot right of way and existing easements. No displacements or relocations of any kind would be necessary.

The virtual public hearing will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
