| Purpose | TxDOT is proposing to build a new location intersection at FM 429 and US 80. |
| Description | The FM 429 proposed improvements include:
US 80 would be reconstructed to include left turn lanes and a raised median at the proposed intersection with FM 429. A portion of the project is located within the City of Terrell. The existing FM 429 right-of-way (ROW) width is between 90 and 105-feet wide. The proposed ROW width of FM 429 on new location would vary from a minimum of 175 feet to a maximum 285 feet. The proposed project would, subject to final design consideration, require approximately 36 acres of additional ROW. |
