Notice of Final Environmental Assessment Available for Public Review

The project would upgrade the corridor as part of the future development of Interstate 69 (I-69) to meet interstate standards. This includes upgrading existing and new location facilities to a 4-lane divided freeway with controlled access (exit/entrance ramps and overpasses). The proposed project would extend for a total of approximately 13 miles, beginning just south of Woodsboro and ending approximately 3 miles north of Refugio.

Pursuant to 23 CFR 771.119(h), TxDOT will issue a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for this project no sooner than 30 days after the issuance of this notice of availability. 

The approved final EA is on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TxDOT's Corpus Christi District Office, 1701 S. Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas, 78416. It is also available below on this webpage.
