Notice of Availability for Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)
US 77 Improvement Project – Woodsboro-Refugio
| Purpose | This notice advises the public that TxDOT has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed US 77 Woodsboro-Refugio Improvement Project, and that the FONSI is available for public review. The project would upgrade the corridor as part of the future development of Interstate 69 (I-69) to meet interstate standards. This includes upgrading existing and new location facilities to a 4-lane divided freeway with controlled access (exit/entrance ramps and overpasses). The proposed project would extend for a total of approximately 13 miles, beginning just south of Woodsboro and ending approximately three miles north of Refugio. |
| Description | The FONSI and approved final environmental assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TXDOT-Corpus Christi District, 1601 S.
