| Purpose | TxDOT's Corpus Christi District is providing the public an online opportunity to comment on the proposed revision to the 2025 – 2028 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). The revision includes the removal of the following projects which are now planned for the fiscal year 2030:

| Description | The 2025 – 2028 Rural TIP meeting was held in the Spring of 2024 pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. As a continuation of the public involvement effort, this online opportunity to comment will offer the public a chance to provide input on the revision to the previously presented Rural TIP. The Rural TIP included all added capacity and regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the 2025 – 2028 program window, including those eligible for federal funding. Rural TIP revisions are needed for major project changes such as adding or removing projects, altering scope or limits, funding adjustments and constraints, and to meet federal requirements. |
