| Purpose | The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Bryan District is proposing improvements to SH 105 from SH 249 to SH 6 in Grimes County, Texas. This notice advises the public that the project team will be conducting an in-person public meeting on the proposed project. |
| Description | The proposed improvements include the construction of a direct-connect interchange at the intersection of SH 105 and SH 6. The direct-connect interchange would connect SH 105 westbound to SH 6 northbound and SH 6 southbound to SH 105 eastbound. Updates to the working design include modification of the FM 362 intersection to remain at-grade, construction of one-way frontage roads along the corridor, and a new overpass at County Road 410. The project length is approximately 6.5 miles. Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection by appointment only Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at TxDOT Bryan District Office, 2591 North Earl Rudder Freeway, Bryan, TX 77803, 979-778-2165. |
