Attendees will be able to come and go as they please to review exhibits and ask questions in an open house format. On the day of the public meeting, the information presented will be made available online on this webpage.

Purpose The Texas Department of Transportation – Bryan District, in collaboration with Brazos County, is developing a Corridor Plan to address the transportation needs of FM 1688 (Leonard Road) in Brazos County, Texas. This notice advises the public that TxDOT will be conducting a public meeting on the proposed corridor plan.
Description The plan is being developed under the 2022 Brazos County Transportation Road Improvement Program and will focus on measures to improve safety and traffic flow. Join us at the public meeting to share your transportation challenges and needs and learn about potential roadway improvements.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 17, 2025, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
