TxDOT conducted a historic resource survey of properties that fall within the Southeast Connector Area of Potential Effect. This is a step in the National Environmental Policy Act process, as well as under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. See the survey report for the letter TxDOT sent to the Texas Historical Commission, Texas’ State Historic Preservation Office, for additional information on this project. Learn more about how TxDOT reviews project effects to historic properties in the Connecting People to the Past brochure.
