SH 199 - Western Center Boulevard to Nine Mile Bridge Road
Western Center Boulevard to Nine Mile Bridge Road (currently under construction)
Construction is substantially complete on SH 199 from Western Center Boulevard to Nine Mile Bridge Road. Opened to traffic in February 2019, the project completed the remaining highway section by constructing six mainlanes (three in each direction), ramps and four bridges at Western Center Boulevard, Hanger Cut-Off, Nine Mile Bridge Road and over Cottonwood Creek. This five-mile, $46.3 million project was part the Texas Clear Lanes initiative to address congestion.
