Notice of Virtual Public Meeting and Affording an Opportunity for Public Hearing - 2021 Virtual Annual Bicycle Meeting - Tyler District

Purpose:

TxDOT Tyler District will conduct a virtual public meeting to include a pre-recorded presentation containing both audio and visual components on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021.

Any interested persons may request this meeting be formalized into a public hearing by submitting a written request to Bobby Burke, at 2709 W. Front St., Tyler, TX, 75702, on or before Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021. In the event such request is received, the public meeting to be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, will be rescheduled as a formal public hearing.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide information regarding transportation projects and programs that might affect bicycle use on the state system within the Tyler District. The Tyler District is made up of Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Rusk, Smith, Van Zandt, and Wood counties. A presentation and opportunity for comment will be available. Comments must be received on or before Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, to be included in the official summary of this meeting.
