Tyler, TX 75702 (Map)

When:

Tuesday, April 23, 2019
5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Purpose:

TxDOT invites interested citizens to review alignment alternatives for the proposed roadway improvements to FM 2493 (Old Jacksonville Hwy) in the City of Tyler. The meeting will be an open house, come-and-go format without a formal presentation. Representatives from TxDOT and its consultants will be available to answer individual questions. Comments must be received by Tuesday, May 7, 2019, to be a part of the project’s official record.

Description:

The projects’ limits are from Loblolly Lane/Woodland Hills Drive, south to Saline Creek Road/FM 2813. The proposed work includes widening the existing four lanes to a six-lane roadway with a raised median. Bike and pedestrian facilities will be proposed where applicable. The project will require new right of way from adjacent property owners.

Special Accommodation:

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call 903-510-9100 at least two working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
