Open House - San Antonio Street Bridge at Comal River

Purpose:
The purpose of this open house is to present proposed improvements to the San Antonio Street Bridge over the Comal River in the City of New Braunfels. The meeting is an open house format and no formal presentation will be given. All attendees can come at their own convenience.
Description:
The proposed project would rehabilitate the existing bridge and approaches by widening the bridge to accommodate wider travel lanes and sidewalks. Acquisition of right-of-way is not currently anticipated for the proposed project; however, temporary construction easements would be needed.
Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English with Spanish translators available. If you have special communication accommodations, need an interpreter, or if you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (512) 264-1095 by April 20, 2018. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
Comments must be received or postmarked by May 15, 2018 to be included in the Open House Summary.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
