Purpose:

TxDOT is holding a virtual public meeting proposing to widen Farm to Market (FM) 529 roadway from State Highway (SH) 99 (Grand Parkway) to FM 362 in Harris and Waller Counties, Texas. The virtual meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and a link to submit online written comments. Description:

The proposed design includes both rural and urban sections. The urban section would include widening the existing FM 529 from a two-lane roadway to a six-lane roadway, with a raised median between SH 99 and Katy Hockley Cut Off Road, and this would also include a 10-foot shared-use path on both sides of the roadway. The rural section would include widening FM 529 to a four-lane roadway, with a raised median between Katy Hockley Cut Off Road and FM 362. Sidewalks are proposed within the rural section on both sides of the roadway.

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The virtual public meeting will be available in English and Spanish.
