Public Meeting - FM 2347 (George Bush Drive) Raised Medians

Purpose:
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), as the Lead Agency, is proposing to install additional raised medians on FM 2347 (George Bush Drive) from FM 2154 (Welborn Road) to BS-6R (Texas Avenue). An informal open house is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan, 21, 2020 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at College View High School, 1300 George Bush Drive, College Station, TX, 77840. TxDOT staff will display the proposed plan and be available to discuss the project.
Description:
The proposed plan is to install additional raised medians within the project limits, resurface pavement and make upgrades to sidewalks.
Comments made at the meeting or mailed and recieved in writing before Feb. 5, 2020 will become part of the official meeting record.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
