Purpose:

TxDOT is proposing improvements to RM 620 at Anderson Mill Road from south of Foundation Road to Little Elm Trail in Travis and Williamson counties, Texas. This notice advises the public that TxDOT will be conducting a virtual public meeting for the proposed project.

Description:

TxDOT proposes improvements at the intersection of RM 620 and Anderson Mill Road to enhance safety and improve mobility. The RM 620 at Anderson Mill Road intersection is one of the most congested along the corridor. The proposed project would extend for a total of 1.2 miles along RM 620, from approximately 240 feet south of Foundation Road to Little Elm Trail, and would include two- to three-lane frontage roads, elevated bypass lanes at Anderson Mill Road and El Salido Parkway, intersection improvements, and improved bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.

The proposed project would be subject to final design considerations, require additional right of way, and potentially displace 20 non-residential structures. Relocation assistance is available for displaced persons and businesses. Information about the TxDOT Relocation Assistance Program and services and benefits for those displaced and other affected property owners can be found by viewing the Landowner's Rights Publications.

At least part of the proposed project would occur within the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 7901 North I-35, Austin, TX 78753.
