TxDOT TEXpress Lanes toll rates

Most TEXpress Lanes are managed to keep traffic moving 50 miles per hour (mph) or faster. Traffic speeds are maintained through dynamic pricing, where toll rates fluctuate based on congestion levels in the TEXpress Lane.

Drivers without a toll tag pay a 50% surcharge over the toll tag rate on TxDOT's TEXpress Lanes.

Toll tag rates shown are for single occupancy two-axle vehicles with a valid tag. Surcharges apply to vehicles without a valid tag.

Registered two-axle High-Occupancy Vehicles (HOVs) and motorcycles can receive a 50 percent discount during peak travel periods (Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) per the Regional Transportation Council's Managed Lane Policy.

TxDOT's TEXpress Lanes use an axle-based classification system. The toll rate you pay is based on the number of axles on your vehicle. Multiply the base toll rate by the Class Factor number for your vehicle in the chart below.

Toll rates for 3 or more axle vehicles are higher and are calculated based on the number of axles (pricing shown in the table multipled by a factor of "N-1", where N represents the number of axles).

*SH 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) entrance and SH 121/SRT exit are direct connectors from the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT). Toll rate for SH 121/SRT entrance and SH 121/SRT exit remain fixed during the 24-hour period. HOV discount is not applied to these ramp gantries.
