Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to gather public input and share information on proposed improvements to FM 1535 between Loop 1604 and Shavano Ranch Road. Meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Attendees may come and go at their convenience.
Description:
TxDOT is in the schematic and environmental phase for the FM 1535 Expansion Project to provide safety and mobility improvements.
Proposed improvements include:
- Expanding to 4 lanes
- Intersection improvements
- Adding a center-turn lane and raised median
- Adding sidewalks and bicycle accommodations
TxDOT anticipates construction for the FM 1535 Expansion to begin in late 2019.
Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English with Spanish translators available.
