Notice Affording Opportunity for Public Hearing - SH 75 from FM 3083 to FM 2432

Purpose:

TxDOT is the lead agency proposing to widen SH 75 from Farm-to-Market (FM) 3083 to FM 2432 in Montgomery County, Texas. This notice advises the public that draft environmental documents are available for public review and that TxDOT is affording an opportunity for a public hearing on the proposed project.

Description:

The proposed SH 75 project consists of:

  • Widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway with curbs and gutters
  • Providing drainage for stormwater
  • Adding five-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roadway

The purpose of the proposed project is to facilitate mobility in central Montgomery County for the traveling public. This project requires nine acres of new right of way with no displacements.

Any interested member of the public may request a public hearing covering the social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed location and design for this project. Requests for a public hearing must be submitted in writing on or before Thursday, March 8, 2018, to:

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
