 TxDOT announces weekend closure of I-10 between Freeport and Uvalde/Market for asphalt repairs

TxDOT announces a total closure of I-10/East Freeway between Freeport Street and Uvalde Road /Market Street, next weekend, beginning at 9 p.m. Fri., Aug. 14, to 5 a.m. Mon., Aug. 17. for asphalt repairs.

Details of the closure and detour are as follows.

Fri., Aug. 14 at 9 p.m. until Mon., Aug. 17 at 5 a.m.

IH 10 westbound between Freeport Street and Uvalde Road /Market Street: Total Closure – Motorists are advised to exit Uvalde Road/Market Street (779B) to the frontage road, continue past Uvalde, then merge back into the I-10 westbound mainlanes.
