Texas Statewide Truck Parking Assessment
The 2026 Texas Statewide Truck Parking Assessment is a comprehensive effort to evaluate truck parking availability, demand, and needs across the state. Findings from this study will help TxDOT develop data-driven strategies to improve truck parking capacity, enhance safety, support efficient freight operations, and strengthen Texas' transportation network. The Assessment will become a component of the 2027 Texas Freight Mobility Plan (currently under development).
