| Purpose: | This notice is to advise the public that TxDOT has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed improvements to US 59 from SH 71 to Business 59 North in El Campo, Wharton County, Texas. |
| Description: | Copies of the FONSI, approved Environmental Assessment (EA) and Certification of Public Involvement are available for public inspection and reproduction at the TxDOT Yoakum District Office, located at: 403 Huck St. For further information, please contact the District Engineer at (361) 293-4347. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
