Online Comment Opportunity - Wichita Falls District 2021-2024 Rural TIP Revision

Purpose:

TxDOT's Wichita Falls District is providing the public with an online comment opportunity for the proposed revision to the 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). An in-person or virtual public meeting is not scheduled; however, the public is encouraged to view project information and submit comments about the revision by Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.

Description:

The purpose of the online comment opportunity is to receive comments on the revision to the 2021-2024 Rural TIP for the Wichita Falls TxDOT District. The projects that will be affected include:

• 0194-02-092 – I-35 Widening – Cooke County – Project moved from April 2023 to April 2025

The 2021-2024 Rural TIP meeting was held Tuesday, May 26, 2020, pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. As a continuation of the public involvement effort, the online comment opportunity will offer the public a chance to comment on the revisions to the previously presented Rural TIP.

 Revision information will also be available for public review Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 through Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, by appointment only at the TxDOT Wichita Falls Office at 1601 Southwest Parkway Wichita Falls, TX 76302. The public is encouraged to view this online information and provide input regarding the proposed revisions. Written comments may be submitted online, emailed, or mailed. If mailed, written comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, either in-person or by mail to TxDOT, Attn: Shaun Barnes at 1601 Southwest Parkway Wichita Falls, TX 76302. Comments can also be submitted by email. TxDOT will accept comments until Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.
