| Virtual details | A short presentation, exhibits explaining how the Rural TIP operates, and projects that are included in it will be available during the virtual public meeting. Please note this is not a live event. The materials may be viewed at your convenience. As such, this virtual meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. |
| Purpose | TxDOT's Waco District will conduct an online virtual public meeting for the 2027-2030 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area. |
| Description | The Waco District includes McLennan, Bell, Hill, Limestone, Bosque, Coryell, Hamilton and Falls counties. The Rural TIP includes both grouped projects and individually listed projects that include added-capacity projects and regionally significant projects to be funded outside of MPO boundary, and within a TxDOT district during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. This meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. |
