Purpose The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the City of Killeen are proposing to improve Rancier Avenue from Fort Hood Street to 38th Street in Bell County, Texas. This notice advises the public that TxDOT will be conducting a public meeting on the proposed project. The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed project and receive public comment.

The proposed improvements include construction of medians, turn lanes, and reduced through lanes; bike lanes, on-street parking, and continuous sidewalks along the length of Rancier Avenue.
