Open House - US 69 Feasibility Study

Purpose:
The purpose of the open house is to gather public input on potential improvements to US 69 (South Broadway Avenue) from Amherst Street to FM 2813. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Aug. 1, 2018, to be a part of the official open house record.
Description:
TxDOT, the City of Tyler and the Tyler Area Metropolitan Planning Organization are conducting a feasibility study to explore improvements to US 69 (South Broadway Avenue) from Amherst Street to FM 2813. The study is evaluating ways to enhance safety and improve mobility along the corridor.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
