Purpose:
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to gather public input on the February 2019 Quarterly Revisions to the 2019-2022 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Comments must be received on or before March 4, 2019 to be a part of the official hearing record.
Description:
The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program:
- Reflects the federally funded transportation projects in the FY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) for each Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in the state.
- Includes both state and federally funded projects for the non-attainment areas of Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, and Houston and San Antonio.
- Contains information on federally funded projects in rural areas that are not included in any MPO area, and other statewide programs as listed.
