| Purpose | The study is assessing how to improve east/west connectivity, enhance safety and freight movement, and promote international trade and economic opportunity at the border and along the corridor. Findings and recommendations will assist in developing a phased and prioritized improvement strategy for the US 57 Corridor. |
| Description | TxDOT is assessing the feasibility of interstate designation for the 100-mile-long US 57 Corridor from the Eagle Pass International Bridge on the Texas-Mexico border eastward to the Interstate 35 junction in Moore, Texas. |
