| Purpose | To receive public comment on amendments to Chapter 31 concerning the policies and procedures followed by the department in the administration of state and federal public transportation grant funds. |
| Description | The changes update and streamline the department’s rules, addresses recommendations made by the Texas Regulatory Efficiency Office (TREO), removes obsolete program references, and amends language governing the allocation of funding for federal 5310 and 5339 grant programs. |
| Accessibility | TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The public hearing will be conducted in English. Persons who have special communication or accommodation needs and who plan to participate in the hearing are encouraged to contact the Public Transportation Division, at 512-486-5977. Requests should be made at least three working days prior to the public hearing. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the needs. |
