2027 – 2030 Rural Transportation Improvement Program Pharr District

The TxDOT Pharr District will conduct an online virtual public meeting for the 2027 – 2030 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area. 

The Pharr District includes Zapata County. The Rural TIP includes both grouped projects and individually listed projects that include added-capacity projects and regionally significant projects to be funded outside of the Metropolitan Planning Organization boundary, and within a TxDOT district during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding.

The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. The same information including a short presentation, exhibits explaining how the Rural TIP operates, and projects that are included in it will be available to view during the virtual public meeting. 

The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English and in Spanish. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English or Spanish is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English or Spanish, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
