Virtual details	The virtual public meeting will be posted below beginning Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 5 p.m., and will remain online through Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Please note, this is not a live event. The materials can be viewed at your convenience. Additionally, TxDOT is providing an in-person meeting for individuals who would like to participate in person instead of online. In-person attendees will be able to review the same materials and presentation as the online public meeting.

Purpose	TxDOT Paris District is proposing to improve US 271 from Loop 286 to SH 37 in Lamar and Red River counties, Texas.
Description	The proposed improvements to US 271 include the following: CSJs: 0221-01-078, 0221-01-079 and 0221-02-028 – Widening US 271 from Loop 286 in Lamar County to SH 37 in Red River County, from a two-lane highway to a four-lane divided highway for approximately 20.6 miles. The proposed project is currently funded.
