Public Meeting - FM 121 - Grayson County

Gunter High School Cafeteria
1102 N. 8th St.
Gunter, TX 75058 (Map)

The public meeting set for Thursday, April 19, 2018, will be rescheduled to a future date and location.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements to FM 121 between US 75 and SH 289. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.

This project will add capacity and increase safety between US 75 and SH 289.  TxDOT has already widened or is in process of widening FM 121 from FM 3356 to US 75.  This project continues the widening west from FM 3356 through to Preston Road (SH 289).  In the future, it will serve as a critical connection between US 75 via the Gunter Relief Route (in feasibility stage via Grayson County RMA) to the Grayson County Spur Road, which is an extension of the Dallas North Tollway.

Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (903) 737-9213 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.

Comments must be received on or before Friday, May 4, 2018, to be a part of the official meeting record.
