Open House - US 75 from FM 1417 to US 82

Open House 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Purpose:
TxDOT will host an open house to provide information and answer questions about the upcoming construction improvements to US 75 from FM 1417 to US 82. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. No formal presentation will be given.
Overview:
The proposed improvements include:
- Widening of existing four lanes to six-lanes-divided from FM 1417 to SH 91
- Creation of continuous frontage roads along the US 75 corridor
- Reconfiguration & improvement of the US 75 and US 82 intersection
- Addition of U-turn lanes at major intersections
- Reconstruction of the bridge at South Travis Street
- Adjustments to the main traffic lanes on US 75 between Lamar and Washington to remove them from the 100 year floodplain

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23. U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 09, 2019 and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
