SH 17 at Stafford Boulevard

| Purpose | TxDOT is proposing to improve SH 17 at Stafford Boulevard in Reeves County, Texas. This notice is affording an opportunity to comment as part of the environmental review process for this project. |
| Description | Stafford Boulevard, from Arizona Avenue to SH 17, would be realigned to the south of its current location and would connect to SH 17 at Western Avenue. The new alignment would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes, one in each direction, a 12-foot left turn lane, and 1-foot shoulders. A 6-foot sidewalk would be included on each side of the road. SH 17 would be widened to add a 12-foot left turn lane at the new intersection of Western Boulevard and Stafford Boulelvard. Western Boulevard would be widened at the intersection to add a 12-foot left turn lane and a 10-foot raised median. Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction can be obtained from the TxDOT district office by calling 432-498-4645. Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Odessa District Office, 3901 E. Hwy. 80, Odessa, TX, 79761, 432-498-4772. |
