Online Comment Opportunity - Lufkin District 2021-2024 Rural TIP Revision
Purpose:
The purpose of this online comment opportunity is to receive comments on the project to be delayed from the list of projects previously proposed in the Lufkin District 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for Nacogdoches County. A face-to-face meeting is not scheduled; however, the public is encouraged to view project information and submit comments about the project by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021.
Description:
The purpose of the online comment opportunity is to receive comments on the revision to the Lufkin District 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. The project affected by the proposed revision includes US 259, Nacogdoches County, widening roadway to provide a continuous left turn lane.
A virtual public meeting for the initial adoption of the Lufkin District 2021-2024 Rural TIP was held June 24, 2020, pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. As a continuation of the public involvement effort, the online comment opportunity will offer the public a chance to comment on the revision to the previously presented Rural TIP.
