Online Comment Opportunity - Laredo District 2021-2024 Rural TIP Revision

 

Purpose:

TxDOT Laredo District is providing the public with an online comment opportunity for the proposed revision to the 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). An in-person or virtual public meeting is not scheduled; however, the public is encouraged to view project information and submit comments about the revision by Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.

Description:

The purpose of the online comment opportunity is to receive comments on the revision to the 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP) for the Laredo TxDOT District. The projects that will be affected include:

  • CSJ 0018-05-094, Webb County, IH 35 widening freeway from four to six lanes with an overpass at Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) line

The 2021-2024 Rural TIP meeting was held in August 2020 pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. As a continuation of the public involvement effort, the online comment opportunity will offer the public a chance to comment on the revisions to the previously presented Rural TIP.

The public is encouraged to view this online information and provide input regarding the proposed revisions. Written comments may be submitted online, emailed, or mailed. If mailed, written comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, or by mail to TxDOT, Attn: Roberto Rodriguez, P.E. at 1817 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043. Comments can also be submitted by email. TxDOT will accept comments until Jan. 29, 2021.
