Purpose The purpose of the public meeting is to present the proposed project to the public and receive comments. The virtual and in-person meeting will consist of the same narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and an opportunity to comment.
Description The proposed improvements would improve mobility and enhance safety by constructing a 16-foot-wide raised median with left-turn lanes along approximately five miles of FM 1314 from Ferne Drive to SL 494. The proposed improvements would also include the installation of upgraded vehicle detection systems at several signals and raised pavement markers. The project would take place within existing right of way and no displacements are anticipated.
