Public Meeting - North Houston Highway

Where:	Houston Community College Central Campus Learning Hub/Science Building 1300 Holman St. Houston, TX 77004	When:	Tuesday, April 28, 2015 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Where:	Jefferson Davis High School 1101 Quitman St. Houston, TX 77009	When:	Thursday, April 30, 2015 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the meetings is to present the proposed recommended alternative for the North Houston Highway project and to receive comments.

Description:	The comment period has been extended to May 31, 2015. The proposed project includes: Adding four managed lanes to I-45 from Beltway 8 North to I-10 Realignment of sections of I-45, I-10 and US 59 in the downtown Houston area Improving connections to SH 288 and US 59 south of downtown Since this is an open-house format, no formal presentation is planned. TxDOT staff will display the plan and will be available to discuss the project. Attendees may come and go at their convenience. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 17, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
