The virtual hearing will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The presentation will be posted online by Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. on this webpage. Please note that the virtual public hearing will not be available on the website until the time and date listed above and is not a live event.

If you do not have internet access, you may call the project manager at 817-399-4311 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process.

The in-person option will follow an “open house” format and in-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online public hearing which will be playing on a screen, review hard copies of project materials, ask questions and leave written comments.

Purpose TxDOT and the City of Grapevine are proposing improvements to Fairway Drive from State Highway 26 to Marina Drive in Tarrant County, Texas.
Description

The proposed project will extend 2,700 linear feet from SH 26 to Marina Drive. Fairway Drive will transition from five lanes at the intersection of SH 26 to three lanes just north of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s property, the intersection of Marina Drive/Treatment Trail will include a single lane roundabout. North of the roundabout will transition back to the two lane roadway section. Additionally, a ten foot wide shared use path will be added along the west side of the roadway from SH 26 to Marina Drive.

Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time.
