| Purpose | TxDOT El Paso District is conducting outreach to provide the public with an online comment opportunity for the proposed revision to the 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. An in-person or virtual public meeting is not scheduled; however, the public is encouraged to view project information and submit comments about the revision by Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. |
| Description | The purpose of the online comment opportunity is to receive comments on the revision to the 2021-2024 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for the El Paso TxDOT District. The project that will be affected by the revision include PRESIDIO TRADE PROCESSING CENTER IN PRESIDIO COUNTY, the project is to construct a Customs and Border Protection Facility and other upgrades related to the CBP facility. The 2021-2024 Rural TIP meeting(s) was held in the Spring pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. As a continuation of the public involvement effort, the online comment opportunity will offer the public a chance to comment on the revision to the previously presented RTIP. Revision information will also be available for public review Jan. 28, 2022, through Feb. 11, 2022 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT El Paso District Office at 13301 Gateway Blvd. West, El Paso, TX 79928. The public is encouraged to view this online information and provide input regarding the proposed revision. Written comments may be submitted online, emailed, or mailed. If mailed, written comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, either in person or by mail to TxDOT, Attn: Adriana Rodriguez at 13301 Gateway Boulevard West, El Paso, TX 79928. Comments can also be submitted by email. |
