Public Meeting - Border Highway East

| Purpose: | The purpose of the public meeting is to present the preliminary alternatives for the Border Highway East (BHE) study area. English and Spanish speaking team members will be available to provide project information and gather input from those interested in the BHE study. An open house/public meeting will also be on Tuesday, March 4, at the Clint High School Gymnasium, 13890 Alameda Avenue in Clint, Texas 79836. The same material will be presented at both meetings in English and Spanish. |

| Description: | We are beginning the community discussion and visioning process to improve regional mobility and safety as well as provide improved connectivity along the border in southeast El Paso County. The study area begins at Loop 375 near the Zaragoza International Port of Entry and extends south to the Fabens International Port of Entry. I-10 and the Rio Grande serve as east and west boundaries respectively. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting or the March 4 meeting and provide comments at any time on or before Monday, March 17, 2014. |
