Description:
TxDOT is gathering public input as part of the process of developing a Corridor Master Plan to identify current and future transportation needs along Horizon Boulevard. The Corridor Plan will:
- Define existing transportation challenges and opportunities and consider, evaluate, and provide possible solutions
- Document and evaluate the community's future vision regarding transportation
- Develop a set of recommendations to enhance safety and mobility
A key outcome of this process will be the identification of a set of projects for short-, mid-, and long-term implementation. More information about public involvement and the corridor study, as well as a link to the online engagement tool, may be found on the project page.
Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be conducted in English; however, if you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call 915-790-4200 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
