Virtual details

The virtual option will consist of a virtual room that will include both audio and visual components. The virtual room will be available here beginning Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at 4 p.m. MT and will remain available until Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. MT. Virtual attendees will be able to view the same materials shown at the in-person public meeting.

In-person attendees will be able to view hard copies of study materials, ask questions to TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments.
 
Purpose The TxDOT El Paso District is conducting a feasibility study to identify potential improvements to FM 76 (North Loop Drive), from FM 1281 (Horizon Boulevard) in Socorro, to SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) in Fabens, El Paso County, Texas.
Description On Feb. 28, 2023, TxDOT held a public meeting to introduce the FM 76 (North Loop Drive) Feasibility Study and solicit feedback from the public. Based on the comments received and further analysis, TxDOT has developed a recommended conceptual alternative and a list of short, mid, and long-term corridor improvements. The purpose of the upcoming public meeting is to present the recommended conceptual alternative and the short, mid, and long-term corridor improvements and to provide an opportunity for the public to share feedback.
Accessibility Both the in-person public meeting and virtual option will be available in English and Spanish. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English or Spanish are not your primary language, or if you have difficulty communicating effectively in English or Spanish, one can be provided to you. Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
