Denton Civic Center
321 E. McKinney St.
Denton, TX 76201 (Map)
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019
Open House: 6 - 8 p.m.
Presentation: 7 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and receive comments on a study to analyze potential roadway options for US 380, including improving the existing alignment or utilizing new alignments. Alignment options could require additional right of way to accommodate the project. Comments must be received on or before Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2019, to be a part of the official record.
TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study for improvements to US 380 and Loop 288 through Denton County. The limits of the study are from Loop 288 at I-35 to US 380 at CR 26 (Collin County Line), a distance of approximately 21 miles. TxDOT will conduct two public meetings to discuss and receive public comments on the proposed study. Both meetings will present the same information and will be held in an open house format with a presentation beginning at 7 p.m. Representatives from TxDOT and project consultants will be available to answer questions about the proposed project improvements. Study data and maps showing roadway alignment options will be available for viewing at the public meetings.
TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (214) 320-4480 at least two working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
