The virtual meeting will consist of a prerecorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The presentation will be posted online by Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5 p.m. and will remain online for at least 15 days. Please note the virtual public meeting is not a live event. The materials can be viewed at your convenience.

If you do not have internet access, you may call 214-320-4469 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process.

Purpose The purpose of the feasibility study is to analyze potential roadway alternatives to FM 455 between Shady Brook Lane and US 75 including improving an existing alignment or developing new alignments.
Description

The proposed study could potentially result in projects that require additional right of way and include construction in wetlands and an action in a floodplain. The study area is within the City of Weston and the City of Anna.

Any environmental documentation or studies, any maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection by appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Dallas District Office located at 4777 E. Highway 80, Mesquite, Texas 75150.

The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
