Purpose:
The purpose of the open house is to present the proposed improvements and receive public comment on I-37 between Redbird Lane and the US 77 interchange in Nueces and San Patricio Counties. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Oct. 24, 2018, to be a part of the official open house record.
Description:
The proposed project includes:
- Replacing the northbound bridge crossing the Nueces River
- Reconfiguring northbound entrance and exit ramps
- Improving the connection to and from US 77
- Improving northbound lane configurations from Sharpsburg Road to US 77 interchange.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
