Attendees will be able to come and go as they please to review the project information, ask questions and provide feedback on the design. 
Purpose The Texas Department of Transportation – Bryan District, in collaboration with Washington County leadership, is developing plans to improve various crossovers along US 290 between FM 577 and FM 2447 in Washington, County.  This notice advises the public that TxDOT will be hosting an informational open house on the proposed project.  
Description The proposed improvements would reconfigure existing crossovers to Restricted Crossing U-turn (RCUT) intersections at selected locations and close other crossovers to enhance safety and improve traffic flow along the corridor. No additional right of way is proposed for the project.

Memorandum of Understanding The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
