E. Pecan Street Widening Project

Throughout the project limits, the existing roadway is currently a four-lane undivided roadway west of SH 130, a two-lane divided roadway with no shoulders east of SH 130, and a two-lane undivided road east of Weiss Lane. The preliminary plans would:

• Widen E. Pecan Street to a six-lane roadway with three lanes in each direction and a raised median from Sun Light Near Way to Weiss Lane, and a four-lane roadway with two lanes in each direction and a raised median from Weiss Lane to 1,000 feet east of Weiss Lane
• Widen the bridge over SH 130
• Connect segments of sidewalk along the roadway
• Add a shared-use path on the North side of the roadway
• Improve the intersections at SH 130, Livano and Weiss Lane

Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction can be obtained from the City of Pflugerville by calling 512-990-6400. 

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the City of Pflugerville, 15500 Sun Light Near Way #B, Pflugerville, TX 78660, (512) 990-6400. The project materials are written in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you.
